Using the anchor peptide Evolution Technology (PePevo) we are able to tailor our anchor peptides for your specific application conditions. PePevo enables us to evolve anchor peptides using a polymerase with a high mutation frequency (60 mutations per kilobase) which was developed at the RWTH Aachen university. The polymerase allows a high diversity in short peptide sequences like the anchor peptides. By combining PePevo and KnowVolution (knowledge-gaining directed evolution) technologies we are able to improve the binding of anchor peptides to target surfaces significantly within one evolution round (e.g. 6x to polystyrene). Our evolved anchor peptides – tailor-made for your application.
